Gold prices in the local market rose on Wednesday compared to the previous price list, by 80 dirhams for 24 karats, 70 dirhams for 21 karats, and 60 dirhams for 18 karats, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Gold Trading and Goldsmith Shops.
According to the morning price list, the selling price of one gram of 21 karat gold, the most sought after by citizens in the local market, was 87.9 dinars for sale from goldsmith shops, compared to 84 dinars for purchase.
