France Overturns the Tables Against Belgium and Snatches Zidane's First Win at Home

The French national team turned their deficit into a resounding victory with a score of 4-1 against the Belgian guest, in the match that brought them together at the France Stadium, within the Group One competitions of the first level of the European Nations League.

Dodi Lukebakio opened the scoring for Belgium in the 35th minute, making it seem that the visitors were on their way to snatching the match points.

However, coach Zinedine Zidane made offensive changes in the second half, bringing in the trio of Desiree Doue, Ryan Cherki, and Michael Olise, who turned the tables in the last 15 minutes.

Doue equalized with a left-footed shot from the penalty area line in the 77th minute, and just four minutes later, Cherki put France ahead, benefiting from an Olise cross.

Then Olise returned to score two close-range goals in the final minutes and stoppage time, completing the sweeping victory.

This victory represents Zidane's first win on home soil as coach of the French national team, three days after a 1-1 draw with Italy, strengthening his position in leading the Blues.
