Spaniard Fabian Ruiz left his national team's training camp on Saturday to attend the birth of his first child in the capital Paris, whose team Saint-Germain he plays for, the Spanish Football Federation announced.
Thus, the 30-year-old midfielder will miss "La Roja"'s match against the Czech Republic in the third round of League A in the UEFA Nations League, which was held on Saturday in Oviedo.
The federation did not indicate the possibility of his return, noting that the final match will take place on Tuesday in Split against Croatia, concluding the international break.
The Spanish national team, recently crowned champion of the North American World Cup, had started its campaign in the competition with two crushing victories, the first against England 3-2 and the second against Croatia 4-1.
