Dhlil youth carry out educational visits to SOS Children's Villages and the Martyr's Memorial

The Dhlil Youth Center carried out two educational visits yesterday, Saturday, to the SOS Children's Villages and the Martyr's Memorial, with the participation of 20 young men and women from the center's members.

During their visit to the SOS Children's Villages, the participants were briefed on the village's origins, its humanitarian vision and mission, and its goals of providing a safe family environment for children who have lost parental care, as well as the most prominent projects and programs it offers in the fields of care, protection, education, and empowerment. They also learned about the village's facilities and the role it plays in caring for children, building their characters, and enhancing their future opportunities.

The visit provided an opportunity to learn about models of humanitarian and community work, and to instill the values of solidarity, volunteering, and social responsibility among the participants.

The participants also visited the Martyr's Memorial, where they reflected on the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Jordanian Arab Army, the meanings of heroism, sacrifice, and loyalty to the homeland. They learned about the symbolism of the memorial and its historical and national significance, and what it embodies of the journey of giving and sacrifice in defense of the homeland.

The two visits come within the Ministry of Youth's efforts to implement qualitative programs that contribute to building the personality of young people, enhancing their knowledge, and developing their spirit of citizenship and belonging through field experiences that enrich their expertise and broaden their horizons.
