Beni Leith: The King's Speech Embodied the Pulse of the Jordanian and Arab Street

The Beni Leith tribe in the Petra District confirmed that they, along with their sheikhs, notables, and children, followed with pride and honor the steadfast Jordanian position expressed by His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein in his historic speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

They said in a statement issued that the speech embodied the pulse of the Jordanian and Arab street, and outlined the boundaries of Jordanian national security that must not be compromised or negotiated.

The tribe's members emphasized their full support for the noble Hashemite stance, rallying around the Hashemite leadership and armed forces, standing in a single line behind His Majesty the King, the Jordanian Armed Forces 'Arab Army', and security agencies, in defense of the homeland's soil, sovereignty, security, and stability, and that the land of Jordan is a red line, and lives are beneath it.

They condemned the violations and expansionist and aggressive policies and practices of the Zionist entity in the occupied Palestinian territories, affirming Jordan's historical position in protecting Islamic and Christian holy sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif under the Hashemite custodianship.

They expressed in the statement their rejection of all Iranian threats and attempts to destabilize, and any regional threats or interventions, whether from the Iranian regime and its tools in the region or otherwise, which seek to tamper with the region's security or target Jordanian sovereignty, stressing that Jordan will not be subject to settling scores.

The statement concluded: The Beni Leith tribe places all its capabilities and its children at the service of the homeland and its leadership, affirming that Jordan is strong with its institutions, army, and loyal people, and is capable of deterring anyone who dares to compromise Jordan's security or future.
