Arab Bank continued its support for the "Orphan Day" program of the Charity Clothing Bank, one of the departments of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), by sponsoring an event dedicated to orphaned children, embodying its commitment to social responsibility and its role in supporting initiatives that have a direct impact on the lives of the most needy groups.
More than 119 children benefited from the activity, experiencing a comprehensive shopping experience inside the Charity Clothing Bank showroom in Amman, where they were given the freedom to choose clothes, shoes, and school bags that suited them, accompanied by volunteers from the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and Arab Bank volunteers, who shared the day's details with the children and helped create an interactive atmosphere full of joy.
This event is an extension of the support provided by Arab Bank to the "Orphan Day" program for the thirteenth consecutive year, and its keenness to contribute to meeting the needs of orphaned children and enhancing its contribution to humanitarian and social initiatives, in addition to consolidating the culture of volunteering and encouraging employees to engage in charitable work that directly benefits the community.
The Charity Clothing Bank, through its cooperation with various national institutions, continues to provide for the needs of children and beneficiary families according to a mechanism that allows them the freedom to choose their needs from within its showrooms. The total number of beneficiaries of its services since its establishment has reached 2,233,221, while the number of items distributed has exceeded 10,132,780, which enhances the quality of the service provided and transforms the process of obtaining clothing into a more interactive and private human experience.
It is noteworthy that Arab Bank adopts an integrated approach in the field of sustainability and social responsibility, aiming to maximize its economic and social impact by implementing programs and initiatives that cover several areas, including health, education, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, supporting orphans, and women's empowerment.
