It is worth noting that the draw for the 2027 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers placed the national U-17 team in Group Four alongside Iran, Laos, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, with Laos hosting the group's centralized matches.

According to the competition format, the 35 participating teams were divided into seven groups of five teams each. The group winners will qualify for the 2027 AFC U-17 Asian Cup finals, to be hosted by Uzbekistan in May next year.

The seven group winners will join nine teams already qualified for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, who have automatically secured their spots: Australia, China, Japan (defending champions), Republic of Korea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

The Jordan Football Association aims, through organizing training camps and friendly matches for the national U-17 team, to achieve the highest levels of preparation and support to advance in upcoming competitions, foremost among them the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers.
