Al-Ramtha strengthens its ranks with Ivorian Anthony

Al-Ramtha Club has strengthened the ranks of its football team by signing Ivorian central defender Serge Anthony, as part of the club's moves to bolster its technical composition in preparation for the new professional championships season.

Anthony, 23, previously had professional stints in Algeria with USM Khenchela and MC Alger, in addition to several domestic experiences in Côte d'Ivoire where he played for multiple clubs.

The signing of Anthony comes within the technical staff and management's plan to build a more competitive team by recruiting new elements possessing technical capabilities that can add real value to the squad.

Al-Ramtha relies on the new deal to raise the level of options available to the technical staff, especially in light of the club's aspirations to appear differently in the current season and achieve results that match the team's status and its fans' expectations.

During the summer transfer window, Al-Ramtha was active in rearranging its ranks and making a number of signings, seeking to form a balanced team combining experienced elements and young talents, capable of competing and delivering better performances.

Al-Ramtha fans hope that the Ivorian professional will succeed in providing the anticipated addition and that his presence will form a new point of strength in the squad of «Northern Gazelles» during the current season.

Al-Ramtha, which recently succeeded in lifting its transfer ban, had previously signed Nigerian Aidoo Kingsley, Gambian Alfusainey Gassama, and Palestinian Mohammed Khalil, alongside a group of local players such as Saif Darwish, Youssef Hassan, Murad Al-Faluji, Anton Awad, Ahmed Thaier, and former goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Zoubi.
