National Karate Team player Muhammad Al-Jaafari, on Tuesday, won the gold medal in the under 84 kg category, granting Jordan its first gold medal at the Asian Games – Nagoya 2026.
Al-Jaafari secured the gold medal after winning the final match against Iranian player Ali Asghar Asiabary, topping the standings in his weight category.
Al-Jaafari had advanced to the final after defeating Indian player Chitan Bhat with a score of 8-0, continuing his successful journey in the karate competitions at the event until he claimed the gold medal.
