Al-Habashneh: «Jahiz» certificate is a prerequisite to compete for participation in the management of upcoming elections

Director of Electoral Operations at the Independent Election Commission, Nasser Al-Habashneh, stated that the «Jahiz» platform constitutes an interactive training system aimed at improving the electoral process by developing the skills of personnel working in election management and enhancing their readiness.

Al-Habashneh added that obtaining an official certificate from the Commission via the «Jahiz» platform represents a mandatory condition to compete for participation within the temporary cadres working in the management of upcoming elections, which include municipal, parliamentary, and chambers of industry and commerce elections.

He pointed out that the number of registrants on the «Jahiz» platform has so far reached approximately 39,500 people, 15,000 of whom have started the learning process, while 8,000 people have obtained official certificates.

Al-Habashneh noted that the platform provides 19 educational tracks, including practical applications and question models that simulate the electoral process, contributing to raising the readiness level of applicants to work within the electoral cadres.

He explained that the importance of the platform lies in enabling the Commission to differentiate between competitors based on the certificates they have obtained, pointing out that the Commission continues to conduct tests for the «Jahiz» platform according to a timetable prepared for this purpose.
