The team from the Prince Abdullah bin Ghazi Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Al-Balqa Applied University achieved first place in the creative cinema category during the Afro-Asian Forum held in Aswan, Arab Republic of Egypt, an achievement that reflects the excellence of Jordanian students and their ability to compete and innovate in international artistic and cultural forums.
According to a statement by the university today, Wednesday, this achievement comes as a culmination of the creative and artistic efforts exerted by the faculty's students, their advanced skills in the fields of film production, computer graphics, and animation, and their ability to employ academic knowledge and technical skills in presenting innovative artistic works that rise to the level of competition in specialized festivals and events.
The President of the University, Dr. Ahmad Fakhri Al-Ajlouni, expressed his pride in this achievement, which embodies the excellence and creativity of the university's students and reflects the university's success in providing an educational environment that stimulates innovation and creative production, pointing to the university's keenness to support student talents and enable them to participate in Arab and international forums, which contributes to highlighting a bright image of Jordanian university education.
Al-Ajlouni said that this achievement is a source of pride and honor for the university and its family, and embodies the creative talents and artistic and technical capabilities its students possess, which qualify them for excellence and competition in international forums.
He added that the team's attainment of first place in the creative cinema category reflects the advanced level reached by the university's students and the efforts made to link academic knowledge with practical application, confirming that the university continues to support student creativity, provide an environment that fosters young talents, and enable students to turn their ideas into quality projects that contribute to highlighting Jordan's bright image and enhancing its presence in artistic and cultural fields at the Arab and international levels.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mohammad Al-Ryalat, affirmed that the faculty team's attainment of first place is a source of pride and honor and confirms the advanced level its students have reached in artistic, technical, and creative fields, praising the team's efforts and its ability to present quality works that reflect the skills and knowledge acquired during their academic journey.
He pointed to the importance of the role played by the faculty in developing student talents and honing their skills by linking the academic side with practical application and encouraging students to develop creative projects capable of reaching specialized artistic and cultural platforms.
