Abdel Qader apologizes.. and resigns from coaching Al-Turra

National coach Ahmed Abdel Qader announced the end of his coaching mission with the Al-Turra football team, after officially submitting his resignation to the club's board of directors, against the backdrop of the events that accompanied the team's last match against Al-Hussein Irbid.

Abdel Qader said on his personal Facebook page: "I extend my sincere apologies to the dear Al-Turra club fans for my behavior following our match against Al-Hussein Irbid club, which was the result of a momentary outburst after I was subjected to direct verbal abuse by an individual. Although I was not the one who started the abuse, this does not exempt me from the responsibility of my reaction, which was unfortunate and does not reflect my morals or the principles I believe in."

He added: "Out of my great respect for the club president and the board members, and my keenness not to place them under any pressure or embarrassment as a result of what happened, I have made the decision to submit my resignation from coaching the team, taking responsibility and out of respect for this club, its fans, and its management."

Abdel Qader confirmed that he had worked from the first day with all sincerity and dedication to build a team capable of competing, noting that he is leaving his position with a clear conscience after having given everything he had to serve the club.

He concluded his statement by saying: "I am leaving my position, but I am not leaving my love for this club. Resignation is not an escape from responsibility, but rather an acceptance of it, and respect for an entity greater than any individual. I ask God to grant success to Al-Turra club in the coming days, and for it to achieve what its loyal fans aspire to."
