A statement issued by the Second Division Football Clubs

The Second Division football clubs have followed over the past days the discussions and meetings following our national team's decision against the Syrian team, and what accompanied that in terms of inputs within the board of directors of the Jordan Football Association.
While affirming that criticism directed at the federation and committees in a bold manner [goes hand in hand with] the journey of development and correcting mistakes simultaneously, [the clubs] at the same time believe in the necessity of looking at the journey of Jordanian football in a comprehensive and fair manner, and not reducing the work of many years into temporary recommendations or circumstantial decisions.
Hence, the Second Division clubs once again announce their support for the board of directors of the Jordan Football Association led by HRH Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, and appreciate the follow-up and attention given to our national team by HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, in a manner that keeps pace with the standing achieved by sports and the national team with the Jordanian leadership and masses.
They also appreciate the wisdom and responsibility with which the recent phase was reviewed, the open-mindedness of those concerned in the federation, and correcting matters is an essential part of successful institutional work.
In this context, it is necessary to complete the achievements made by Jordanian football over the past years, foremost of which is the clear development in the presence of national teams and Jordanian football at the Asian and international levels, leading to the historic achievement of which Jordan is proud, and qualification in our national team's file to the World Cup finals.
Within this framework, we hope that the upcoming phase will contribute to enhancing the efforts of all Jordanian football clubs, the federation, clubs, technical and administrative staff, fans, and media, in a way that supports the journey of Jordanian football and achieves more achievements.
The Second Division football clubs affirm their full support for the efforts to develop Jordanian football, and standing alongside the federation in its journey of development and elevating the level of the game.
