The sailing team participates in the Alexandria International Sailing Championship

The Jordanian national sailing team delegation departed on Wednesday for the Arab Republic of Egypt to participate in the 23rd edition of the Alexandria International Sailing Championship, which is being held from October 15 to 20, with the participation of 9 countries: Jordan, Egypt, Belarus, Armenia, Greece, Morocco, Russia, Sudan, and Turkey.

This participation comes within the plan set by the Royal Jordanian Marine Sports Federation, which aims to develop the sport of sailing and raise the level of national teams by intensifying foreign participation and providing opportunities for players to gain experience and enhance international exposure.

The national team previously concluded an intensive two-week internal training camp under the supervision of international expert and technical advisor, Egyptian Captain Mohamed Gamal, as part of the technical and physical preparations for participating in the championship, raising the players' readiness, and enhancing their competitive capabilities.

The national team delegation includes Egyptian technical director Captain Omar El-Zeini, assistant coach Captain Mustafa Al-Atoum, therapist Hamza Al-Kasasbeh, and players Waleed Alian, Salem Abu Hamteh, and Moataz Al-Lahham.
