The government extinguishes KD 2.151 billion of its debt since the beginning of the year

The government has extinguished KD 2.151 billion of its debt since the beginning of the current year until the end of July last.

According to the Ministry of Finance data, the government borrowed KD 3.925 billion through the issuance of bonds and treasury bills, while the value of the interest on the issuance of bonds and treasury bills amounted to KD 876 million during the first 7 months of the current year.
