In the distribution of cases according to the method, the data showed that hanging was the most recorded with 84 cases, followed by falling from a height with 29 cases, then firing a bullet with 25 cases, while 9 cases were recorded with burns and 9 cases with other means.
The Center confirmed its previous recommendations not to criminalize the attempt to commit suicide and the necessity of providing social, psychological, health, and economic support to people who try to commit it, along with studying the causes of suicide, including economic conditions, poverty, unemployment, and their effects.
