This has reasons, including in the contemporary Jordanian case: the Jordanian state was established and continued as a state of role and mission, which Jordanians and Hashemites agreed upon even before the land of King Abdullah I set foot in Ma'an. This is the mission of liberating the nation, achieving its independence, and unifying it, no matter how long it takes and how great the sacrifices are.
It is known that belief in the role and the mission gives those who possess them an advantage that distinguishes them from other individuals, groups, and countries. This is the advantage that His Majesty King Abdullah II referred to in his speech at the 81st meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, which is the advantage of having a clear vision and not ignoring the facts and turning a blind eye to these facts.
