Jordanian Parliamentary Delegation Visits Saudi Arabia

A Jordanian parliamentary delegation, headed by the Chairman of the Jordanian-Saudi Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee, MP Abdul-Basit Al-Kabariti, is visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the official invitation of the Saudi Shura Council to discuss enhancing parliamentary relations between the two brotherly countries and exchanging views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

The visit comes within the framework of the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the continuous cooperation and coordination witnessed by these relations, in light of the attention and care given to these relations by His Majesty King Abdullah II and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the keenness of HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, to enhance the cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation includes the Deputy Chairman of the Jordanian-Saudi Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee, Chairman of the Transport and Public Services Parliamentary Committee, Dr. Ayman Al-Bada'a, and MPs Ibrahim Al-Jubour, Muhammad Al-Mahamid, Fuleih Al-Sbaitan, Ayman Abu Al-Rub, and Tariq Bani Hani.

The visit aims to enhance the role of parliamentary diplomacy and expand areas of cooperation and coordination between the Jordanian Parliament and the Saudi Shura Council, which contributes to strengthening relations between the two countries and serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
