The Public Integrity and Anti-Corruption Prosecution has decided to detain one of the nurses at Prince Hamza Hospital for 15 days as part of an investigation at Marka Rehabilitation Center, on charges of embezzlement.
The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Authority had previously referred the case to the Public Prosecution after completing the initial investigations.
In a statement today, Monday, the Authority said that the case involves suspicions of embezzlement and is still under investigation by the Public Prosecution until legal procedures are completed.
It confirmed its continued pursuit of any transgressions affecting public funds and its uncompromising stance against any encroachment on the state's resources.
