Ayla Sponsors the "Dead2Red" Running and Cycling Race

Ayla Oasis Development Company announced its sponsorship of the "Dead2Red" running and cycling race, covering 200 km from the Dead Sea to the Red Sea at Ayla Oasis in Aqaba, organized by the "Generations For Peace" organization on October 22 and 23, 2026. This sponsorship comes as part of Ayla's ongoing commitment to supporting sports and community initiatives, and enhancing Aqaba's position as an attractive destination for sports and tourism events.

Under this cooperation, the race will bear the name “Ayla Dead2Red” this year, as Ayla hosts part of the event by preparing a dedicated track inside the oasis that leads participants to the finish line, providing them with a unique sporting experience in one of Aqaba's premier tourism and entertainment destinations.

The "Ayla Dead2Red" race combines cycling and running, offering an experience that goes beyond the concept of athletic competition to emphasize an active lifestyle, team spirit, and community engagement, as participants make their way toward the coastal city of Aqaba.

Ayla's sponsorship is an extension of its established approach to supporting sports in all their forms and hosting events that encourage healthy and active lifestyles. It also reflects Ayla's role in supporting the tourism sector in Aqaba and attracting participants and visitors through experiences that combine sports, entertainment, and nature.

Eng. Sahl Dudin, Managing Director of Ayla Oasis Development Company, said: "At Ayla, we view sports as an integral part of the lifestyle we strive to establish, and an effective platform to enhance community interaction and promote Aqaba as an integrated destination. Our sponsorship of the Ayla Dead2Red race embodies this approach, combining challenge, team spirit, and an exceptional sporting experience."

Dudin added: "We are pleased that Ayla is part of the final leg of the race and to welcome participants to our destination. We reaffirm our ongoing commitment to supporting qualitative initiatives and events that enrich Aqaba's agenda and diversify the experiences available to its visitors, as sporting events possess great potential to attract diverse segments and enhance the city's presence on the sports tourism map."

For her part, Lama Hattab, Chief Executive Officer of Generations For Peace, added: "The Ayla Dead2Red race represents a sporting experience built on challenge, participation, and teamwork. We are proud to cooperate with Ayla in this year's edition, which contributes to elevating the participants' experience and expanding the community impact of the event. We look forward to organizing an exceptional edition that brings together running and cycling enthusiasts in a positive sporting atmosphere that embodies the values of cooperation, perseverance, and team spirit."

Through its continued sponsorship and hosting of sporting and community events, Ayla continues to solidify Aqaba's position as an integrated destination for tourism, sports, and entertainment, by providing an ideal environment to host qualitative events that contribute to revitalizing tourism and enriching the experience of both visitors and the local community.
