Al-Assaf said that the Second Scientific Conference for Teachers' Clubs comes from our belief that knowledge and awareness are the foundation for building the future, and that investing in human beings, particularly teachers, is an investment in the future of education and the nation.
He pointed out that we live a present filled with awareness and knowledge, and we look forward to the future with hope, ideas, and aspirations, standing firmly and with firm faith in Allah, and absolute confidence in our educational mission and the role of the Ministry of Education in building the Jordanian human being and enhancing the march of education.
He said, "We hope that the Second Scientific Conference for Teachers' Clubs will be an annual meeting for knowledge and expertise exchange among those with a noble mission, where they exchange knowledge, thought, and ideas, transferring messages of awareness and knowledge to the educational field, and writing a new methodology that enhances the status of the Jordanian teacher and his pioneering role."
The Jordanian teacher has been and remains present in the Arab educational scene, contributing his experience in developing the educational and training process, and providing a model of performance, giving, and knowledge.
He explained that this year's conference carries four main axes, which the researchers agreed upon with sincere effort, in cooperation with colleagues in the General Secretariat and the Judging Committees, with the aim of raising the level of performance, renewing the educational discourse, and improving the teacher's message, represented in the developed curricula, building 21st-century skills, teachers' initiatives in developing creative education, and the role of the Jordanian teacher in strengthening the pillars of national identity and the emergence of the Jordanian state, and the role of Sharif Hussein bin Ali in establishing the entity of the Great Arab Revolt and preserving the constants of Islam and Arabism.
He added, "We recall what was mentioned in the speech of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein before the United Nations General Assembly, which carried clear messages and a roadmap for the issues facing the world, and emphasized the need for the global conscience to awaken towards humanitarian issues, and to be more aware and responsible towards the crises and challenges the world is witnessing."
He affirmed the Ministry's interest in inclusive education by the presence of sign language in the activities of our conference, affirming the role of the Ministry of Education in empowering human resources in all their categories and spectrums, and enhancing the presence of everyone in the educational and pedagogical process.
We conclude the third day's activities of the conference by talking about the role of teachers' clubs in bringing about positive changes in the educational community, reaching a new stage of training, through specialized training programs in partnership with the Educational Supervision Department, contributing to raising the level of the Jordanian teacher and developing his abilities and skills, noting that the number of club members has reached 30,000.
The Director of Education in Ajlun, Khalid Jawi'a, said, "We started in the teachers' clubs from this national scene that includes fourteen teachers' clubs in the governorates of the Kingdom, whose directors, members of their administrative bodies, and those who are loyal to them work with the spirit of one team, making a blessed effort in the service of the Ministry of Education, carrying a national resolve based on knowledge and loyalty to this homeland."
He pointed out that we are today in the teachers' clubs facing a new national situation through which we look forward to the future, as the Jordanian teacher and his national incubator, the teachers' club, is no longer limited to social activities, internal and external trips, or sports championships, but has become present in the scientific conference, research, knowledge, and exchange of experiences, noting that the teacher is the owner of the noble message and the maker of knowledge, the builder of generations, and the real partner in the march of educational development and national renaissance.
He expressed his thanks for the support and assistance of the Ministry of Education, all researchers, the General Secretariat of the Conference, the Judging Committees, the Directors of Teachers' Clubs, and everyone who contributed to the success of this scientific conference.
The Director of the Ajlun Club, Ahmed Freihat, said that the conference aims to enhance the role of the Jordanian teacher, exchange educational experiences and initiatives, and highlight distinguished initiatives to contribute to the development of educational practices and serve the educational process.
