The first level of the European Nations League witnessed fiery and decisive matches, most notably an important victory for the Dutch team, compared to a disappointing goalless draw for the German team in the same group.
In Group 2 matches, the Dutch team achieved a valuable victory over their guest Serbia with a score of (2-1). Tijn Kortemeier opened the scoring for the "Tulips" in the 31st minute, before Mijat Gacinovic equalized for Serbia in the 35th minute. In the second half, Joshua Zirkzee tipped the balance in favor of the hosts by scoring the winning and decisive goal in the 72nd minute.
In the other match of the same group, a goalless draw (0-0) overshadowed the match between the German and Greek national teams. Despite the dominance and offensive attempts by the German squad, the defensive solidity of the Greeks and their goalkeeper prevented the net from shaking until the final whistle, leaving the teams sharing the points of the match.
For Group 4, the Portuguese team snatched a valuable victory against their Norwegian guest with a score of (2-1). Norway took the lead first through Christopher Aur in the 36th minute, but Portugal's response came quickly with a goal from Joao Cancelo in the 38th minute. In the second half, Goncalo Ramos managed to snatch the winning goal for Portugal in the 79th minute.
In the same group, the Danish team snatched an important away victory against their Welsh host with a score of (1-0). The only goal of the match came from the striker Rasmus Hojlund from a successful penalty kick in the 75th minute, giving his country all three points.
