The annual Public Security Beach Volleyball Championship for the year (2026) kicked off yesterday, held at the Princess Ayah Al Faisal Court in Al-Hussein Youth City.
The tournament witnesses the participation of (7) teams representing various directorates and commands of the Public Security Directorate, with the teams divided into two groups.
Group One includes the teams of (Correction and Rehabilitation Centers Department, North Gendarmerie Command, Stadium Security Unit, Special Tasks Gendarmerie Command), while Group Two includes the teams of (Civil Defense Directorate, Public Security Ceremonies Group, Diplomatic and Departments Security Command).
The opening day of the tournament witnessed the "Civil Defense Directorate" team defeat the "Public Security Ceremonies Group" team with a score of (2-0), while the "Correction and Rehabilitation Centers Department" team outperformed the "North Gendarmerie Command" team with a score of (2-0), and the "Stadium Security Unit" team also won against the "Special Tasks Gendarmerie Command" team with a score of (2-0).
