Issuance of the Kingdom's Open Fin Swimming Championship Instructions

The Royal Federation of Marine Sports issued the instructions for the Kingdom's Open Fin Swimming Championship, which will be held at the beginning of next month, at the Olympic Pool in Aqaba Youth City.

The championship is a key station for selecting the national team members for fin swimming, in preparation for upcoming international commitments and participations, most notably the World Cup for Youth in Hungary.

Registration for participation in the championship will begin on Thursday 22 of the current month at the Federation's headquarters, from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon, over 3 days, while participants from outside Aqaba can register via the Federation's email "rjmarine_sports@yahoo.com".

On another note, yesterday, the Aqaba Union Club's under 20 years football team hosted the Dhaat Ra's Club in a friendly match held at the Aqaba International Stadium in preparation for the new season.

In another context, the Dhaat Ra's Club continues its intensive preparations to participate in the under 20 years league, within the Football Association's age group championship, through an integrated training program aimed at achieving the highest levels of physical and technical readiness.

Yesterday, the team began its training camp in Aqaba, which includes intensive training and a number of friendly matches with the city's teams, with the aim of raising the level of readiness and testing the technical and physical capabilities of the players.

The technical director, Bassem Al-Rawashdeh, confirmed that the camp represents an important station in the team's preparation program, and aims to raise the level of physical fitness, enhance endurance, develop technical and physical readiness, and raise the level of harmony among the players.

Friendly matches against Aqaba teams also provide an opportunity for the technical staff to assess players' levels, try out technical and tactical options, raise the level of performance, and address observations before entering official competitions.

During the camp, the technical staff works on developing team performance, enhancing tactical discipline, building team personality, and giving young players the opportunity to gain experience, which contributes to preparing a team capable of performing strongly in the upcoming commitment.

Separately, youth centers in Petra continue to implement their sports programs, as part of their plan to enhance physical fitness and develop youth skills.

The Taiba Youth and Women's Center continues the activities of the boxing program, which aims to train participants in the basics of the game, improve their physical fitness, and enhance the spirit of discipline and self-confidence.

The Petra Youth and Women's Center also continues the activities of the Jiu-Jitsu program with wide participation, which focuses on developing self-defense skills, control, and balance, under the supervision of specialized trainers.

These programs are part of the Ministry of Youth's efforts to expand the base of youth participation in various sports and to invest free time positively and constructively.
