"Education" Honors Top Non-Jordanian Graduates from Higher Education Institutions

The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development honored the top non-Jordanian (foreign) graduates from higher education institutions in Jordan for the fifth session 2025-2026 in Amman, in a ceremony titled: "You are Ambassadors of Jordan".

The ceremony was sponsored by the Minister of Education and Human Resources Development, Dr. Azmi Mahafza, and was organized by the Directorate of Expatriate Students Affairs in the Higher Education Department of the Ministry, in cooperation and coordination with the Jordan Tourism Board.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority, Dr. Zafer Al-Saraireh, and a number of cultural attaches and counselors at Arab embassies in Amman, presidents of Jordanian public and private universities, deans of university colleges, and members of the Committee for Attracting Expatriate Students in the Ministry.

The Director of the Directorate of Expatriate Students Affairs in the Ministry, Dr. Sajida Al-Nadaf, said that the Kingdom "was and will remain, by the grace of God, a beacon of knowledge, and a gathering space that opens its arms to the children of the Arab and Islamic nation, and to students from all over the world".

She added that the Directorate is proud of the students' confidence in choosing Jordan as a destination for their academic journey, noting that the presence of thousands of expatriate students in public and private universities enriches the educational environment and strengthens the bonds of cultural and human exchange.

For his part, the Qatari student Fahd Al-Naimi, who ranked first among the expatriate students graduating from Mu'tah University, said in a speech on behalf of the honored students that Jordan holds an advanced position in the field of higher education, making it a destination for many students from different countries around the world.

He explained that the expatriate student finds in Jordan a nurturing educational environment of great quality, encouraging academic excellence, in addition to opportunities to participate in various extracurricular activities that leave their mark on him.

At the end of the ceremony, the sponsor of the ceremony distributed certificates and commemorative gifts to the top students, and the choir of students from the Middle East University performed a musical piece that included a number of national and Arab songs.
