Al-Hussein's technical director, Spaniard Koro Torres, confirmed his team's readiness to face Oman's Al-Seeb, noting that the team arrived in the Sultanate of Oman two days before the match and has great confidence in its players' abilities.
Torres said, during the press conference preceding the match, that the technical staff is working step-by-step to develop performance, correct mistakes, and boost morale, with the aim of appearing better in the continental competition.
For his part, player Saleem Obeid confirmed that the team faces a tough match against a distinguished opponent, stressing that the players' goal is to achieve the three points and represent Jordan, the club, and its fans in the best possible way.
Al-Hussein concluded its preparations for the match under the leadership of Torres, through training sessions that focused on technical and tactical aspects, while the technical staff relies on a group of players, most notably goalkeeper Yazid Abu Layla, Abdallah Nasib, Mahmoud Al-Mardi, Aref Al-Haj, and Yousef Qashi.
On the other hand, Oman's Al-Seeb looks to capitalize on home advantage and the support of its fans to make up for its 1-0 loss to Iraq's Al-Shorta in the first round and achieve its first victory in the tournament.
Al-Seeb is led by Romanian coach Florin Motroc, who previously coached Jordanian clubs, most notably Shabab Al-Ordon, whom he led to the Professional League title in the 2012-2013 season, in addition to coaching Al-Ramtha during two periods in 2014 and 2018.
Al-Hussein club will play the match in an all-white kit, while Al-Seeb will wear yellow and green, according to what was agreed upon during the coordination meeting that brought together representatives of both teams in preparation for the match.
