Al-Hussein Bin Talal University hosts the Arab Youth Forum

Al-Hussein Bin Talal University hosted the Arab Youth Forum "From Story to Impact," which aims to empower youth and provide them with opportunities to learn, experiment, and discover their abilities within an environment that embraces initiative, respects diversity, and supports creativity, contributing to transforming human ideas and experiences into initiatives with a positive impact on society.

The forum was organized through an initiative by the Zahrat Ma'an Association for Community Development and the Southern Badia Center, in cooperation with the university, and with the participation of Arab delegations from Egypt, Tunisia, Palestine, Iraq, and Yemen, alongside the American Group for Programs and Training, as part of strengthening cultural communication, exchanging experiences, and opening new horizons for youth to express their experiences and talents.

President of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Dr. Atef Al-Kharabsheh, emphasized that the university views such forums as a genuine space for human and cultural interaction, and a platform to enhance the role of youth in building societies and shaping the future, based on its belief that investing in people is the foundation for achieving sustainable development.

He pointed out that the university's mission is not limited to academic education and scientific research, but extends to include building a conscious personality, promoting the values of citizenship, openness, and tolerance, and supporting initiatives that allow youth and adolescents to discover their potential, develop their skills, and turn their ideas into tangible achievements.

For her part, the representative of the participating Arab delegations, Ivan Hawash, expressed her appreciation to Al-Hussein Bin Talal University for hosting the forum, praising the cooperation that contributed to the success of its activities and provided a space that brings together youth from diverse Arab backgrounds and cultures.

She affirmed that the forum goes beyond being a fleeting cultural event, as it carries a humanitarian message based on building bridges between hearts, promoting dialogue and understanding, and granting youth a safe space to express themselves and share their stories, dreams, and aspirations.
